A single stud enveloping a unique nocturnal diamond in luminous molten gold. The 18 carat precious metal emerges frome behind the rose cut diamond like sunlight at the end of a long night. The jewel symbolises the perpetual cycle with which gold has been repurposed and become anew over millions of years, solid here but quickly in flux again.

Details
Made from 18 carat solid gold, the diamond was submerged in melting metal in Alexandra's studio in the UK. This process aligns with Alexandra's central tenets: the practice of letting go of control and letting the fire determine the outcome of a jewel. The studs are fastened with butterfly backs.

Diamond: 0.045 ct rose cut salt and pepper diamond, 2mm
